7 Examples of Satan’s Lies About the True Gospel:
1. The Mormons
Saved (exalted to godhood) by works, including faith in church leaders, Mormon baptism, tithing, ordination, marriage, and temple rituals. No salvation outside of the Mormon church.
2. Jehovah’s Witnesses
Salvation by baptism as a Jehovah’s Witness. Must earn life on earth by “door-to-door” work. Salvation in heaven limited to 144,000 “anointed ones.” This number is already reached.
3. The Unification Church – Moonies
Obedience to and acceptance of the True Parents (Moon and his wife) eliminates sin and results in perfection.
4. Christian Science
Humanity is already saved. Sin, evil, sickness, and death are not real, they are only in our imagination.
Son: “My friend Johnny is sick.” Mother: “He isn’t sick, he just thinks he is.”
Son: “It’s worse than we thought, now Johnny thinks he is dead.”
5. The Roman Catholic Church
The Catholic Church teaches that keeping the law is necessary for salvation. They teach salvation is only through the Roman Catholic Church, and Mary our Mediatrix.
6. 7th-Day Adventists
Salvation is by grace through faith but is maintained by commandment-keeping and repentance. Saturday Sabbath observance is the sign of the seal of God. Sunday worship is the mark of the beast. Satan is the scapegoat to be punished in the lake of fire for the sins of the saved.
7. Church of Christ
Water Baptism: contacts us with Christ’s blood, gets us into Christ, is for salvation, is for remission of sins, is to wash away sins.

Burial services teach salvation by works, not the blood of Christ. Teach all lodge members saved whether Christians or not.
ARMSTRONGISM
The new birth not now, but at the resurrection. Jesus alone, of all humans, has so far been saved! By the resurrection power of God. Salvation a process, grace and law.
UNITARIANS
Deny salvation by Christ alone. Think of salvation in terms of character, achievement dependent on deeds. Someday everyone will be in a right relationship with God.
UNITY School of Christianity
Salvation by recognizing our divinity, and that there is no evil, no devil, no sin, no poverty, and no old age. A person is reincarnated until he learns these truths and becomes “perfect.”
SCIENTOLOGY
No sin or need to repent. Salvation is freedom from reincarnation. One must work with an “auditor” on his “engrams” (hang-ups) to achieve “clear.”

Release from the cycles of reincarnation. Achieved through yoga and meditation. Can take many lifetimes. Final salvation is absorption or union with Brahman.
